FIVE POEMS

Five Poems was the first imprint of the Stygian Press in 1961.

The poems were written by my friends Carleton "Cotton" Kent and Alexander "Sandy" Lattimore.

The type was handset and printed on Arches paper on the Chandler & Price jobbing press.

The illustrations are linocuts which I handpainted with watercolors.

Fifteen copies were shared with friends and family. Professor Nash received two copies–as he did of all student projects.
